Tahkli Spindles
There's a lot that goes into making one of my Tahkli Supported Spindle shafts. I use high carbon spring steel, cut it to length, form the end to a semi-sharp point, heat and hand forge the hook, remove oils/clean, sandblast, and finally professionally apply a thermoset polymer paint that can literally withstand blows from a hammer without cracking or chipping. Functional art at its best! #JohnGalenDesigns #TahkliSpindle
