The Highland Park 40 year old is probably one of the best official 40 year old of recent years and one of the crown jewels in Highland Parks range. Hugely complex, redolent with distillery character and massively satisfying whisky. A dram for truly memorable moments.

A rare and rather beautiful bottling of 1975 Talisker bottled in 2011 at 34 years of age; the oldest official Talisker at the time of bottling. With a natural cask strength of 45.1% and only 250 bottles produced in this unique wooden boat. Inside the boat there are two Glencairn Crystal tumblers, they have even added a piece of distilling history by inlaying a copper medallion from one of the actual stills. Overall this is both a beautiful whisky and a stunning presentation.

A 1950 31 year old official Macallan released in 1981 at 43%. This is a near perfectly preserved example of this famous bottling. A delicious, rancio heavy, waxy and tropical fruited affair of a dram that walks a perfect tightrope between the more earthy, coal hearth-like character of the 1950s and the resinous, peaty, fruit rich 1940s style of Macallan. Brilliant whisky that Macallan built their reputation on.
