I understand why people wouldn't play the Dynasty Warriors series. It's repetitive, easy and not many opportunities for strategy is in place (not including Empires and Xtreme Legends but you know). However, the concept is foreign, the history is brutal and real, and the variety of playable characters is fab. Following it since the 4th game on the PS2 and keen to get Dynasty Warriors 9 when we own our PS4 :3
