Rose 🌺 on Instagram: "• GISELLE • This dress is a bit of a departure from my usual silhouettes, but I just fell in love with the elegant style lines ♥️ The Giselle dress has a panelled skirt, round neckline and swipe to see the sweet keyhole opening at the back! 🥰 This gorgeous Atelier Brunette modal is totally divine; I love the all-over abstract print of shards of light toffee brown and deep mocha brown on the black background — it really does feel very autumnal, like a kaleidoscope of falling leaves 🍂 Pattern: @sewoveritlondon Giselle dress Fabric: @atelierbrunette Viscose Modal from @minervadotcom [gifted]"

Shreya on Instagram: "Florals for fall with @sewoveritlondon #soigiselledress 🍁 The Giselle dress is an instant classic to me! I love the simple and elegant style lines, keyhole back neckline, and how lovely this design feels to wear. This is definitely one of those patterns that can easily transition from everyday casual to fully glammed up depending on the fabric, sleeves, and length of the skirt (or that skirt slit!) Pattern notes: * Lengthened the sleeve by about 13” and slashed/spread the pattern for a 70s inspired bell sleeve * Finished the neckline with a button and rouleau loop (vs hook and eye in the pattern). * Next time I’d add a bit of interfacing to the back keyhole seams for some extra stability if using a drapey fabric Fabric is a deadstock viscose crepe from @stonemo
