Meet the Great Horned Owl. It’s roughly around 18-25” long. It has overbearing ear tufts which are responsible for its “horned” appearance. Its large size and white throat, or “bib,” differentiate the Great Horned Owl from the others. It is Alaska’s only large owl with ear tufts.
