For inspiration only, I'm beginning to wonder if we can get a crittal style window with a half height panel either side to cover the worktop. This could then potentially open up completely to expose the kitchen, maybe bi-fold or something, BUT the panels would have to literally touch the worktops when it was closed for it to work I think
