On this day (June 22) in 1996, Sourav Ganguly made a century on debut at Lord's. Another first-timer, Rahul Dravid, didn't do too badly either and made a polished 95. Earlier, Jack Russell, made his second Test hundred - and the first by an England wicketkeeper at Lord's for 44 years. (Three Tests later he was dropped.) Extra: This high scoring game was also Dickie Bird's last.
