This healthy thick chocolate smoothie is one of my favourite snacks to have and is perfect for that mid-afternoon chocolate craving. Instead of your energy levels dropping though in the dreaded afternoon slump this actually perks you up. The greens powder is awesome for energy and nutrients. My kids love this milkshake/smoothie and I feel great knowing they essentially just had the most amazing multivitamin known to man.

You can pretty much add whatever you have in the house to make them, just keep adding dry ingredients to the wet date mixture until it’s firm enough to roll into balls. They are vegan and paleo and can be fully raw if all raw ingredients used.

Healthier Christmas Cake.. NO high fructose corn syrup which is in all standard Christmas treats because of the mixed peel and glacé cherries. We used frozen cherries chopped in half & chopped up peel of 2 satsumas instead. It is seriously decadent and so much nicer than the sickly sweet alternatives. You can be pretty flexible with the ingredients so adjust to your own requirements - don’t have sultanas? Double the raisins or use dried cranberries sweetened with apple. #christmascake
