Dholi & Baraat

In the traditional Indian Wedding, a Dholi is a procession taken by the brides family. Dholi is a decorated covered seating in which the bride is taken to her new home. In many communities the Dholi is taken out before the Baraat. Baraat is a celebrating procession taken by the Groom's family, where is groom is seated on a decorated house with the band plays celebratory music ahead of it and the family and friends rejoicing with dancing and singing.
