E.W. GODWIN Walnut Captains Swivel Chair / Armchair for James Peddle Circa 1881 85cm high. A design classic attributed to Edward William Godwin, the 'Godfather of the Modern Movement'. Size: 85cm high x 56cm wide. In excellent condition & the swivel mechanism works perfectly.

A rare matching pair of Antique Arts and Crafts tiger oak armchairs designed by E.G. Punnett for the High Wycombe based firm of William Birch who retailed through Liberty & Co. of London.
