Hampton Court Palace - home of Princess Friederike of Hanover, Baroness Von Pawel-Rammingen & Baron Alfons von Pawel-Rammingen, great grand-daughter of King George III. Not inhabited by the British royal family since the 18th century. Originally built for Cardinal Wolsey, a favourite of King Henry VIII c. 1514. In 1529, Wolsey fell from favour, the palace passed to the King who enlarged it. George I and his son George II were the last monarchs to reside at Hampton Court.

Richmond Park, London - hmm, no it's not! Someone said it was one of their most enjoyable bike rides around London...mine too, but they cannot have been here as they would know this shot is from Richmond Hill with a wonderful view down over the Petersham Meadows and the River Thames (the river does not run through the park)...however, the park is only moments away... :)
