Fairy Glen (C190 & D1665)

Fairy Glen was produced on the 'Oblique' shape in a full table range for a very short period in the early 1930s It is what is known as 'Over Enamelled' meaning that the pottery was initially glazed, with the back stamp under, and then hand painted in enamel over the glaze. Oddly, pieces bear two pattern numbers to the base: C190 and D1665, but there seems to be no difference in pattern.
