My first attempt at rusting on fabric. So easy! Soak fabric (this was a cotton muslin) in vinegar then wrap around a rusty pole. Cover loosely in cling film. Leave until fabric has rusted - this one took about 12 hours. Rinse, soak in salt water and then wash in detergent. WEAR gloves at all times and protect work surfaces and floor from drips!
