Artwork error: The green circled '40' on the top Prison Phonecard is correct, while the the card below '40' (circled in red) is in the wrong place. It is thought that ALL cards of this later HM Prison Phonecard design carry this error.

Spot the printing errors on the Christmas 1990 set of three BT Phonecards. The cards on the left are correct, while the cards on right all have a printing error. The most famous appearing on the 20unit card - named the 'extra footprint'.

Printing error: The Phonecards green surface print has leaked into the silver lettering at the far right of the cards text, e.g. D of PHONECARD.
(Slightly) shifted design - Phonecards green header shifted to left, cards design shifted to right. On a perfect card the header and design would align perfectly.
