I cut a square of white card & fixed a strip of brown snowflake patterned paper on the left hand side. I added a silver embossed snowflake, stars & swirls decoration over the paper. I darkened the edges of a sentiment label with Walnut Stain distress ink & fixed it to the card. I added the deer topper & mounted it all on a Kraft card base. I am entering this card in the Four Seasons January 2025 challenge 'Winter'.

I cut pieces from 2 patterned papers & fitted them onto another patterned paper, leaving gaps between. I then added a snowman, robin, Christmas tree & baubles, Christmas stocking, 2 gold stars & 2 snowflakes fixed with mini brads. I used a peel-off greeting on white card, cut them out & added them to the card. I mounted it all on a Kraft card base. I am entering this card in the Four Seasons Winter challenge for January 2025.

The deer image is a digi-stamp from Sheepski Designs. I cut it out, fixed it to silver card & trimmed round it leaving a narrow border. I stencilled stars on the top half of a square of white card, using silver metallic ink & embossed them with silver sparkle embossing powder. I sponged silver ink around the edges & fixed the deer image & a sentiment to the card. I mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the Four Seasons January 2025 challenge 'Winter'.

613 Avenue Create

I made a 5 X 7 card from Kraft card, cut the front diagonally from the top of the fold to 2ins from the bottom edge. I scored down the front & folded it back on itself. I cut pieces of brown wrapping paper to fit the inside & both sections of the front. I crumpled them up, rubbed distress ink in Autumn colours on the creases, sprayed them with water so the colours ran, then dried them with a heat gun. I ironed them flat & fixed them to the card. I added elements & the sentiment from Red Hot Bed's Spud & Squeak collection. I punched small leaves from red card & scattered them over the card. I am entering this card in the Allsorts challenge 'Autumn Colours'.

I made a 5 x 7 easel card using Kraft card. I used a wooden planks effect card from First Edition's Wild at Heart pad & added 2 strips of Papermania's Antique Cream Creative Tones paper, mounted on Kraft card. The topper is from Red Hot Bed's Spud & Squeak decoupage range. I fixed it with foam pads & double sided tape. The sentiment is from the same sheet. I covered the base of the card with more of the Antique Cream paper. I punched leaves from Kraft card, using a X-Cut leaf punch. I fixed them to the base with foam pads, using 3 of them to hold up the easel. I am entering this card in the Allsorts 'Autumn Colours' challenge.

The papers are from Sassy Sunflowers by Paper Boutique, mounted on yellow card. I wrapped ribbon round the smaller square & fixed it at an angle on the larger square. The topper & sentiment square is from Sunflower Song by Paper Boutique. I mounted this on yellow card & fixed it in place. I tied a fancy bow & fixed it with a mini brad. I used a Hobbycraft mini stamp for the bee & 2 Woodware stamps for the butterflies. I used Walnut Stain Distress Ink to stamp them on yellow card & cut them out. I fixed the bee with double-sided tape & the butterflies with foam pads. I used Kraft card for the base card. I am entering this card in the Allsorts challenge 'Getting Sentimental'.

I mounted purple star paper on lilac card & blue star paper on blue card. I fixed the blue panel to the left hand side & added a small paper doily. I wrapped purple ribbon across the card. I punched a scallop edged circle & inked the edges, then fixed it on top of the doily. I added the topper, bow, peel-off sentiment & stars. I mounted it all on a white base card. I added a small paper doily to the centre of the card. I mounted a square of bauble paper on pink card & fixed it on top of the doily. I added a small Christmas tree & sentiment. I added a gold peel-off decorative swirl, white poinsettia flowers & holly leaves in the top left corner. I fixed 3 clear gems to the top right corner and mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the A Place To Start challenge 'Happy Holidays'.

A Place to Start

I mounted shaded pink paper on pink card & purple paper on lilac card & fixed the purple panel at an angle. I cut a square frame in half at the opposite corners & fixed one half to the card. I fixed the merry Christmas strip across the card & added the sentiment topper. I fixed 2 more baubles & 3 purple gems & mounted it on a white base card. I am entering this card in the As You Like It challenge 'Anything Christmassy'. I like to use unusual colours for some of my Christmas cards, like the pink & purple I used here.

I mounted snowy houses paper on blue card, then snowflake paper on pale blue card. I fixed the snowflake panel at an angle & wrapped snowflake washi tape around the card. I added the house topper, a Christmas tree & the sentiment, then mounted it on a white base card. I am entering this card in the As You Like It Challenge 'Anything Christmassy. I love doing snowy cards for Christmas and these snow covered houses are really good for that.

I used an Artistic Flair stencil on white card, using black ink, & cut out the part I wanted. Mounted silver star patterned paper & pale blue paper on pale blue card & fixed the smaller panel at an angle. I added a strip of star patterned card across the card & wrapped pale blue ribbon across it. I added the stencilled image, then fixed a bow with a silver mini brad. I decorated the card with a silver star brad & peel-off stars. I added the greeting & mounted it on a white base card. I am entering this card in the As You Like It challenge 'Anything Christmassy'. I like to make Nativity cards for our church friends.

As You Like It challenge

I mounted speckled sand coloured paper on yellow card & added a piece of turquoise paper, at an angle. I fixed the mice with an ice cream cone image, from Beach Life by Helz Cuppleditch, to the card & added a sentiment. I punched 3 circles from speckled card & punched slots in them, using a Memory Makers ribbon punch. I threaded ribbon through the slots & fixed it to the card. I added orange card candi & mounted it on a white base card. I am entering this card in the As You See It Simple Sketch Challenge.

I cut 3 pieces of the same star patterned paper & mounted them on blue card. I fixed the middle sized piece to the larger piece. I made the topper by adding blue & white baker's twine in circles. Then I added a soft fabric star, fixing it with a white heart shaped brad. I punched hearts from hand-made paper, fixed them with silver star brads. I punched stars from blue card, fixed those with heart brads. I added this to the card, at an angle, & added the sentiment. I used a mosaic punch on blue card, cut it out with a border round & cut into 4 pieces. I glued these in the corners. I mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the As You See It Simple Sketch Challenge.

I cut a piece of cream card & 2 pieces of patterned paper, from The Paper Boutique Sassy Sunflowers paper pad & layered them on the card, with the spotted paper at an angle. I wrapped Dovecraft brown ribbon across the card, tied a bow and fixed it with a mini brad. I added the flowers circle & bee toppers, from Hunkydory Bee-autiful Me & Bronze Blooms. I cut the sentiment from the Sassy Sunflowers pad, fixed it to cream card & trimmed the card, then fixed it in place. I mounted it on a Kraft base card. I am entering this card in the As You See It Sketch Challenge.

As You See It challenge

I cut the base card from Kraft card. I cut a piece of red card & a piece of speckled paper & rounded the corners. I stencilled circles onto the speckled paper by brushing with Fired Brick distress ink. I mounted the paper onto the red card. I added 2 squares of patterned paper, with rounded corners, at the top of the card. I added the wreath & fixed small cut out baubles & a bow to the wreath. I fixed 2 more baubles & the sentiment underneath & small red gems in each corner, then mounted it on the base card. I am entering this card in the Cardz 4 Galz challenge 'Use Stencil/s'.

I mounted cream patterned paper on green card. I stencilled a fancy shape on to green card, using Forest Moss Distress Ink, then cut it out & fixed it to the middle of the card. I added a long topper & an oval topper, cut out a large bauble & fixed it to the oval topper. I mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the Cardz 4 Galz challenge 'Use Stencil/s'.

I smooshed Peacock Feathers Oxide distress ink onto white card, then brushed it around the edges. I stencilled snowflakes using Chipped Sapphire distress ink. I mounted Christmas patterned paper onto an old Christmas card & did the same with the inked panel. I fixed the panel at an angle. I mounted a strip of patterned paper on dark blue card & fixed it across the middle. I added the Snow Lady, sentiment & diamond shaped holographic stickers. I mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the Cardz 4 Galz challenge 'Use Stencil/s'.

I mounted brown & white spotted paper on brown card & blue fir tree paper on blue card. I fixed the blue panel at an angle. I mounted blue snowflake paper on blue card & fixed it across the card. I added a strip of robin border & the robin circle topper. I punched a blue snowflake & a silver snowflake, layered them & added a silver sequin snowflake on top. I fixed this with a silver mini brad. I added 3 more sequin snowflakes & the sentiment. I used a Kraft card base. I am entering this card in the Cardz 4 Guyz challenge 'Tic Tac Toe'. I used brown, blue & silver.

I wrapped dark blue ribbon down the panel & tied a small piece of ribbon through it, trimming the ends. I fixed the panel to the left hand side of the card & added the house topper. I fixed the Let It Snow label and used a peel-off Happy Christmas sentiment on blue card, cut it out & fixed it across the ribbon. I used a white base card. I am entering this card in the Cardz 4 Guyz Tic Tac Toe challenge. I opted for Snow, Blue & Winter Sentiment.

I punched a heart shape from red card & added a peel-off greeting & hearts, which I fixed at a slight angle. I used a white 5 x 7 base card. I am entering this card in the If You Give a Crafter a Cookie challenge for January 2025 'Anything Goes'.

I stamped 3 different star borders, from the Uniko Seeing Stars set, across the middle of pairs of baubles, using Indigo ink, then cut them out. I mounted white card on blue card, then fixed the baubles down the left hand side. I sponged blue ink on the edges of the sentiment label & fixed it in place. I mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the If You Give a Crafter a Cookie challenge 'Anything Goes'.

I mounted snowy sky paper on blue card, added a strip of snowflakes & trees paper across the bottom & cut white glitter card to make snowy slopes & fixed it in place. I added trees, the snowy house & the figure using foam pads. I fixed the sentiment & added 2 plastic snowflakes, fixed with mini brads. I used a white base card. I cut a square of silver star & circles patterned paper & mounted it on blue card. I also mounted a piece of snowflake patterned blue paper on blue card. I fixed the panel to the left of the card & used foam pads to fix white glitter paper across the bottom of the panel, cut on a slope to look like snow. I added Dovecraft Crystal glitter glue to the die cut fence & fixed it behind the snow with foam pads. I wrapped silver ribbon across the bottom of the card & added the deer topper. I punched a small scalloped circle from blue card & fixed the sentiment to it. I add this to the top corner of the panel & added 2 silver snowflakes, fixed with blue brads. I used a white base card. I am entering this card in the Craft Rocket challenge 'Christmas &/or Winter'.

Craft Rocket

I mounted cream paper on kraft card. I cut small squares of paper & fixed them in a pattern at the top of the card. I tore pieces of patterned paper & fixed them to the card. I added the toppers & sentiments & fixed it to a white base card. I am entering this card in the Country View challenge 'Birthday Card for a Man'.

I mounted spotty paper on black card. I punched a border top & bottom on paper & added the panel at the bottom of the card. I fixed the dog aperture on black card, rubbed distress ink around the edges & fixed it on the panel. I used a stencil & distress ink to make the squares panel & fixed it to the top of the card. I tied baker's twine around the card & tied a bow. I added the sentiment & mounted it on a base card. I am entering this card in the Country View challenge'Birthday Card for a Man'.

I mounted 2 patterned papers on black card, wrapped baker's twine around the panel & fixed it at an angle to 1 side of the card. I added a peel-off sailing boat to a piece of black card, mounted it on paper & card, then fixed it in place. I added the sentiment, peel-off dolphins & anchor, then mounted it on a white base card. I am entering this card in the Country View challenge 'Birthday Card for a Man'.

I cut 3 frames of different thicknesses from different coloured card. I stacked the frames on the Christmas tree card, layering flowers, leaves & a parcel among the frames. I added the flower spray to the top layer, and a sentiment. I mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the Daring Cardmakers challenge 'Bright'.

Double D

A pretty pink card with a cute kitten image. So sweet! I am entering this card in The Funkie Junkie Boutique challenge 'Anything Goes'.

The challenge at The Funkie Junkie Boutique blog is 'Groundhog Day', which means creating a shabby chic or vintage project that uses a technique, stamp, ink, or any other consistent tool that you find yourself using over and over in your art. My choice is distress inks, which I include on a lot of my cards. I used Pumice Stone for the background, brushing and the smooshing it around the edges and stencilling too. I did the same with Victorian Velvet for the hearts, flowers and border.

I am entering this card in The Funkie Junkie Boutique challenge 'Home Is Where The Heart Is'. A decorated front door to welcome family, friends and visitors, returning home for Christmas.

Funkie Junkie Boutique

I cut a piece of white crinkle patterned card, then smooshed distress inks onto it & brushed purple distress ink around the edges. I stamped mistletoe corners onto the card & mounted it on purple card. I trimmed the image to size, rounded the corners, & mounted it on purple card, then fixed it at an angle. I added the sentiment, then mounted it on a mirror card base card. I am entering this card in the Just Add Ink Inspiration challenge.

I brushed green distress ink through a stencil for the background, then brushed purple and blue distress inks on some scrap card. I stamped 3 flowers and a butterfly on each colour and cut them out. I used the middles of the petals from 3 of the flowers and 1mm foam tape to fix them on the other flowers. I did the same with the butterfly. I glued them down and added pearls to the middle, then added the greeting. I am entering this card in the Just Add Ink challenge 'Add 3D'.

I used a honeycomb stencil and Carved Pumpkin distress ink to make the background. I stamped the flowers and leaves and coloured them in using brushed on distress inks and then colouring the edges. I also stamped the bees and coloured their bodies. I cut out each one and fixed them down and added the sentiment. I am entering this card in the Just Add Ink challenge 'Choose Two' from feathers, petals and leaves. I have chosen petals and leaves.

Kickstart Christmas

Lots of bright colours on this card, striped background, flowered panel and the bright pink flamingos. I used fussy cut flowers and leaves to cover over odd bits of flamingo in the bottom corner and halfway up the side. Th punched panel at the top also covers another odd bit. I am entering this card in the Library challenge 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' because it reminds me of the game of croquet played with flamingos and rolled up hedgehogs.

I used peel-off cats on white card and cut them out. I used Peacock Feathers Oxide distress ink to colour the panels and 2 coordinating papers for the background. I am entering this card in the Library challenge 'Alices Adventures in Wonderland' as the cat's smiles remind me of the Cheshire Cat.

Library Challenge

I cut a piece of pale blue card, slightly smaller than the white base card. I mounted 2 strips of patterned paper on the card. I stamped a swirl of snowflakes onto white card, using blue ink, then trimmed one edge of the card to the shape of the snowflake swirl. I fixed the snowflakes to the card & covered the edge with blue washi tape. I added 2 deer & the sentiment & added blue gems to the centres of some of the snowflakes. I mounted it on the base card. I am entering this card in the Make My Monday challenge 'Snowflakes'.

I mounted brown & white spotted paper on brown card & blue fir tree paper on blue card. I fixed the blue panel at an angle. I mounted blue snowflake paper on blue card & fixed it across the card. I added a strip of robin border & the robin circle topper. I punched a blue snowflake & a silver snowflake, layered them & added a silver sequin snowflake on top. I fixed this with a silver mini brad. I added 3 more sequin snowflakes & the sentiment. I used a Kraft card base. I am entering this card in the Make My Monday challenge 'Snowflakes'.

I cut pink mottled paper & inked around the edges with Victorian Velvet distress ink. I mounted the paper on pink card. I fixed a small paper doily at the top of the card. I stamped snowflakes onto pink card with Snow Cap white ink, & punched a scalloped circle from it & fixed it on top of the doily. I cut out the snowman & fixed that to the card, overlapping the doily & circle. I cut out more of the stamped snowflakes & fixed them to the card. I wrapped a piece of backing paper from paper lace around the bottom edge of the card, then fixed a piece of snowflake patterned card over the top. I edged the sentiment with distress ink & fixed it over the snowflake card. I am entering this card in the Make My Monday challenge 'Snowflakes'.

Make My Monday

I cut a square of white card & fixed a strip of brown snowflake patterned paper on the left hand side. I added a silver embossed snowflake, stars & swirls decoration over the paper. I darkened the edges of a sentiment label with Walnut Stain distress ink & fixed it to the card. I added the deer topper & mounted it all on a Kraft card base. I am entering this card in Male Room challenge 'Clean & Simple'.

I used a bauble stencil with distress ink on white card, brushing the ink on some & sponging it on others, to give differing intensity of colour. I stamped 3 different star borders, from the Uniko Seeing Stars set, across the middle of pairs of baubles, using Indigo ink, then cut them out. I mounted white card on blue card, then fixed the baubles down the left hand side. I sponged blue ink on the edges of the sentiment label & fixed it in place. I mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the Male Room challenge 'Clean & Simple'.

The deer image is a digi-stamp from Sheepski Designs. I cut it out, fixed it to silver card & trimmed round it leaving a narrow border. I stencilled stars on the top half of a square of white card, using silver metallic ink & embossed them with silver sparkle embossing powder. I sponged silver ink around the edges & fixed the deer image & a sentiment to the card. I mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the Male Room challenge 'Clean & Simple'

Male Room

I used shades of pink watercolour paints to make the background & mounted it on card. Pale pink watercolour paint for the tag, splatted with water. I threaded ribbon through the top, attached the heart, tied it in a bow & fixed the tag to the card. I added the top tag & a pink pearl. I wrapped white ribbon round & fixed a bow. I added pink glitter & red flowers with brads. I added white swirls & pearls. I am entering this card in the Moving Along With The Times challenge '

I fixed photo corners to the cow patches paper & mounted it on spotted card. I fixed a strip of stripy card across the middle, then added the cow topper & tag. I decorated the photo corners with peel-off dots & added a number 6 to the balloon, then mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the Moving Along With The Times challenge 'Numbers'.

I mounted 3 panels of patterned paper on silver card. I fixed the largest panel to printed vellum & fixed that to red card, using heart shaped brads in 2 corners. I made a flower & fixed it to the smallest panel with a heart brad, added silver swirls, then layered the panels on the card. I added a heart sticker, sentiment & peel-off Silver 25 on red card. I fixed it to a silver base card. I am entering this card in the Moving Along With The Times challenge 'Numbers'.

MAWTT

I cut the base card from Kraft card. I cut a piece of red card & a piece of speckled paper & rounded the corners. I stencilled circles onto the speckled paper by brushing with Fired Brick distress ink. I mounted the paper onto the red card. I added 2 squares of patterned paper, with rounded corners, at the top of the card. I added the wreath & fixed small cut out baubles & a bow to the wreath. I fixed 2 more baubles & the sentiment underneath & small red gems in each corner, then mounted it on the base card. I am entering this card in the Peace on Earth challenge # 80.

I stamped snowflakes onto pink card with Snow Cap white ink, & punched a scalloped circle from it & fixed it on top of the doily. I smooshed Peacock Feathers Oxide distress ink onto white card, then brushed it around the edges. I stencilled snowflakes using Chipped Sapphire distress ink. I mounted Christmas patterned paper onto an old Christmas card & did the same with the inked panel. I fixed the panel at an angle. I mounted a strip of patterned paper on dark blue card & fixed it across the middle. I added the Snow Lady, sentiment & diamond shaped holographic stickers. I mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the Peace On Earth Challenge #79.

I used part of an old Christmas card & mounted fir tree patterned paper on it. Another piece of the same card had snowflake paper mounted on it. I wrapped dark blue ribbon down the panel & tied a small piece of ribbon through it, trimming the ends. I fixed the panel to the left hand side of the card & added the house topper. I fixed the Let It Snow label and used a peel-off Happy Christmas sentiment on blue card, cut it out & fixed it across the ribbon. I used a white base card. I am entering this card in the Sisterhood of Crafters challenge 'Snowflakes'.

I mounted cream patterned paper on green card. I stencilled a fancy shape on to green card, using Forest Moss Distress Ink, then cut it out & fixed it to the middle of the card. I added a long topper & an oval topper, cut out a large bauble & fixed it to the oval topper. I mounted it all on a white base card. I am entering this card in the Stencil Fun challenge 'Hello/Winter'.
