Opening up the kiln I was slightly less stressed than usual! It's approaching the number of glaze firings after which I usually need to change the elements, but because I've lowered my firing temperature by about 10 degrees celsius or half a cone, I think the elements are wearing better. The firing went like clockwork, but it did have pretty much my whole repertoire of glazes in the firing, that's 14 of them.
