I read this book in one sitting and it follows a similar format to other books by Syd Banks.  It revolves around a person with some difficulties in life meeting people with a profound understanding of ‘the way life works’.  The three principles upon which this understanding is founded are, intellectually, easily explained.  However, weaving them into a story, where someone comes to a profound realisation, is a more effective way to experience the emotional impact of the principles.

I read this book in one sitting and it follows a similar format to other books by Syd Banks. It revolves around a person with some difficulties in life meeting people with a profound understanding of ‘the way life works’. The three principles upon which this understanding is founded are, intellectually, easily explained. A follow up to Jamie Smart’s book ‘Clarity: Better Performance, Bigger Results’ this book is shorter, easier to read but includes new examples to assist the reader to focus and de-clutter their mind.

Written for children this book explains how a person experiences good feelings when they are behaving with wisdom.  In addition, it explains how anger, frustration and unpleasant feelings often lead to behaviours that have a negative effect on themselves and others.    It clarifies how behaviour is often driven by emotion - and emotion is caused by what a person is thinking.  Also, it gives examples how a thought  might be created and perused to give pleasant or unpleasant outcomes.

Each chapter starts and finishes with the same format and includes many examples of people changing from unhappiness and frustration to connection and love.
