"Good Christian parents" can masqurade as victims. It is actually very common and though many Christian narcissist parents would have the world believe that they have a wayward child, the truth can be uncovered when the scapegoat is no longer willing to play that role. The separation in this case has nothing to do with Christianity as they would have many believe. It is NPD that broke us and pride, deceit, and a pretend cloak of piety that will keep us apart indefinitely.
