Maths challenge with The Very Hungry Caterpillar theme. I made the caterpillar and butterfly for the children to stick the coloured circles onto. Will be encouraging symmetry and patterning.
Finger Gym inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Threading leaves and making caterpillars with straws and different sized beads.
Jack and the beanstalk inspired Finger Gym. Green spaghetti in the dough. Carefully place the leaves and wheetos to build a beanstalk.

Jack and The Beanstalk (soak beans overnight so they swell and sprout more quickly. Plant in soil, insert wooden skewer with castle and clouds (cotton balls) attached at top.
Jack and the beanstalk inspired independent maths activity. Roll the dice and move your 'jack' along. Collect gems, winner collects the golden gem!!
