There's a tradition where at the ceremony (signing of contracts, called the nikkah) the groom doesn't see the bride as she's veiled. Then afterward, they put him and her under another veil together and bring a mirror so they see each other for the first time as husband and wife. If we do this, then we'll need a mirror. I think it's cute. -AH
