Maha Gauri,8th incarnation of Goddess Durga,is as white as a conch, moon and Jasmine. Her clothes and ornaments are white and clean. She has three eyes,rides a bull & has four hands.She holds Damroo in her left hand;depicted in the left cheek and Trishul in her right hand;depicted on right cheek of the Goddess. She is calm & peaceful.When the body of Gauri became dirty due to dust & earth while observing penance, Shiva cleaned her with Ganga water.Then her body became bright like lightening.
