Rude cards to display rude-o-meter labels
Aren't rude cards very rude? Maybe they should have a rude-o-meter. Seems like a good idea.
10 of the funniest cards you've probably never seen before.
The happy British public bought just over 708 million single cards in 2021. Yep, you read that correctly. Of those, I think probably about seven were funny. I’m being mean. In my blog post I’ve chosen some cards that tickle me: ones that are a little more original, a little more engaging. And if you’re a person who doesn’t buy cards, at least you’ll have a good laugh.
Ageist birthday cards. Harmless? Or harmless fun? A blog post about ageism in the world.
I take a less concerned view in my blog post about ageist birthday cards. But some people don't and are hugely offended. That said, ageism in the workplace is rife and is a more serious problem. I'm staggered by how much ageism there is in the UK, and indeed, around the world.
Thought leader: one of the most annoying phrases. It makes one look very silly.
10 of the most annoying words and phrases as ranked by Rusty Pencil. OK, it's my own assessment in my blog post. What words and phrases annoy you?
Cards from the dog. Why do we send them? A humorous blog post from Rusty Pencil.
Yes, why do we send cards signed from the dog? They can't write, and they can't post it. How strange. Or is it? A lighthearted look at why we do.
Why is the dad joke so popular? And why are they so bad? A humorous blog post from Rusty Pencil.
Dads have been around for a long time, and so have bad jokes. That's no coincidence. A blog post on why the dad joke is popular than ever. #dadjokes
Oh, the good old dad joke. Where the hell did it come from? Who knows?
Dad jokes are always rubbish, and they're meant to be. Lame, daft, stupid. And that's just the dads. A brief blog post from Rusty Pencil on the history of bad jokes and why dads tell them. Badly, most of the time. #dadjokes #dadjokesfunny

We all do it. But we're not supposed to. The overuse of the exclamation mark. It's annoying!!!!!!
In today's freewheeling and wayward jibberish that stands for writing, the ubiquitous and irritating exclamation mark seems to be here to stay. Ah, well. Never mind. Sorry! Ah, well! Never mind! A less than serious look at the exclamation mark in my less than serious blog post. #englishgrammarhumour #englishgrammarfunny
Of course you know what to write. A funny blog post on what other crap you can find on the internet.
It's amazing what you can find on the internet, but teaching people what to write in a 60th birthday card takes the biscuit. So what other stupid things can you find? Lots apparently. So I've had a little fun with this blog post. A short post for my amusement, and maybe yours.
Yep. Another fucking blog. Except it's mildly amusing and about the greeting card industry. Wooo!
Oh no. Not another blog by someone trying to flog their wares. Except Rusty Pencil is a proper old fashioned writer with a sarky slant on life. He writes about all sorts of aspects about the greeting card industry; some of it funny, some of it true, some of it useful, and some of it you shouldn't take seriously. But hey. At least it might put a smile on your face.
Funny cards for Mums are usually very rude. A funny blog post.
Love. Affection. Support. Mums are brilliant human beings. Which begs the quesion: why do we give them very rude birthday cards? Do we have no respect, or is it because we love 'em to bits that we can get away with it? A humurous look at why we give rude cards to our mums. #rudebirthdaycardsformums #rudebirthdaycards
