All of our Tufted rugs and runners are made in our Devonshire workshop where they are backed using a combination of natural and recycled materials.

A ‘plain’, solid colour rug which on closer examination reveals a subtle striped surface texture. The shear of the pile is fractionally higher than the loop revealing highlights and dark tones, creating movement within the design.
Bloomsbury Stripe Magenta takes inspiration from the Roger Oates Design archives, with reworked versions of signature colour combinations lending familiarity to bold statement stripes. Tufted cut and loop lines run horizontally across the body creating variation and texture on the surface.
A contemporary Roger Oates rug, tufted using British blend wool. A subtle linear pattern reinterpreting our hand-seamed stripe layout using rich contrasting textures in soft pink tones. These rugs are tufted and hand-finished by a skilled team in our Devon workshop.
