With the Memphis Blues Again

Memphis was an Italian Product Design/ Art group in the 1980s founded by Ettore Sotsass. It's aesthetic was based on 60's Pop Art. The name came from a Bob Dylan song that was playing during an early meeting (Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again), but also because of it's Rock 'n' Roll connection. The finish on some of the products was a bit ropey, but it was more about ideas than craftsmanship.
