Butterfly
Red crackers are a medium-sized brush-footed butterfly, species of the genus Hamadryas. Their common name is due to the unusual way that males produce a "cracking" sound as part of their territorial displays. Blue Moon Butterfly, Hypolimnas Bolina, is found in Madagascar in the west, through to South and Southeast Asia, South Pacific islands (French Polynesia, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu), and occurs in parts of Australia, Japan, and New Zealand.
