I spotted this very small snail on the moss that's growing around the Lepanthopsis astrophora 'Stalky', so I quickly removed the snail, and re-homed him outdoors. Pictured on the 3rd December 2016.

Schoenorchis fragrans pictured on the 27th October 2016. This miniature orchid was new to my collection, the plant had a number of pests residing inside its leaves and around the plant. It's worth thoroughly examining and quarantining any new plants you buy before introducing them to your terrarium.

This Masdevallia decumana bloom has only recently opened, yet it has already suffered considerable pest damage. I am unsure what has caused this damage, I had previously wondered when similar damage appeared recently on another Masdevallia decumana bloom if the damage was caused by tiny snails, as I have spotted a few tiny snails lately inside this Miniature Orchid Trial BiOrbAir Terrarium. I will endeavour to discover the pest and remove it from the terrarium. Pictured on the 27th October…

I've recently noticed some damage on a couple of the leaves of my Masdevallia decumana. I suspected that the damage was caused by tiny snails, but I removed the leaves as a precaution, in case there was a tiny pest present that I hadn't seen. Today I removed this Masdevallia decumana flower, as I noticed damage to the flower. Pictured on the 16th October 2016.
