This AEC tree-lopper, London Transport service vehicle 971J, was once a front-entrance STL-type bus in the Country Area.

The wreckage of a double-decker bus which was blasted against a house in London during The Blitz. Passengers and driver escaped in time because they responded immediately to air raid sirens. Sept 9, 1940.
