Random Act of Kindness Day 2021
It’s February 17th 2021, which can only mean one thing. It’s National Random Acts Of Kindness Day and this year more than most, I’m determined to sprinkle some unexpected cheer. Random Acts of Kindness day was started by The Random Act of Kindness Foundation with the intention of encouraging kindness between people, by offering thoughtful gestures, no matter how big or small.

Happy Moments 01/21
With the year beginning in lockdown, I thought it was important to take more notice of the happy moments that pepper our day. They won't be big, magnificent things - but sometimes there's so much joy to be found in the every day ordinary moments. Here are my January Happy Moments highlights!
To Sofia, My fake nail loving, nutbrown hare sucking, YouTube addicted, always room for an extra crisp, tat hoarding, darling daughter. Today you turn seven, and what a wild ride the past seven years have been for us. You started off as a chunky little purple faced newborn (total doppelganger to Phil Mitchell after a booze binge) handed to me in the hospital and you’ve turned into the most wonderful little person... Top 10 Christmas Films
2020’s been a crazy year, that goes without saying, but one thing’s for sure – no-one can stop the traditional Christmas films making their festive appearance – and it’s never too early. So kick back, get your favourite festive jumpers and fluffy socks on – grab the hot chocolates and candy canes and get watching!

Why I'm volunteering at The Trussell Trust
I admit, I was embarrassingly naïve to the poverty crisis that we have in the UK – heightened recently by the coronavirus pandemic. As I sat wondering when we’d next get to Paulton’s Park, or our next meal out; there were people sat wondering where their next meal was going to come from or how they could avoid putting their children to bed with empty tummies, for another night. And that is the reality happening right now.

Corners of our home // The Landing
It’s a bit of a strange one, and it’s not really a room – but the upstairs landing is definitely one of my favourite areas in our house. I don’t know what it is about this space but I’ve always loved it, we live in a chalet bungalow and the corridor is so light and airy – thanks to its width and also the two sky lights that let the sun beam in and light it up....

Best Instagram Hashtags for Parent Accounts
Do you use Instagram for fun, or are you really trying to grow your account? I’ve always just posted whenever I want to, never to a strict schedule and never given hashtags too much thought. However, I have started to notice some of the accounts that I really enjoy following are seeing follower numbers shoot up and #hashtags without a doubt, are playing a part in their climb....
Lockdown. I wanted to write up my 'final instalment' as things start to very slowly return to some kind of normal - and I'm not feeling so 'locked up'. We can go to the beach and even meet in small bubbles now. Schools and nurseries have re-opened and the overwhelming 'hostage' feeling has disappeared.... May absolutely flew by. I can’t believe it’s another month closer to being free! It’s crazy to think we’ve been in more than we’ve been allowed out this year – and that’s why I’m making sure I keep up with these ‘happy moments’ posts as it’s a nice reminder to look back on & remember the happy times in among the hard times. I've had so many fun times this month, so it’s a bit of a long one… the sun's definitely helped too. There’s nothing like a good dose of vitamin C to perk everyone up! It’s amazing what you miss in the middle of a pandemic lockdown. For me, it’s not the material items, but realising that all I crave now, was actually what I already had – and didn’t take enough time to notice or appreciate. Do you remember life before March? The one where we all dashed about and took so many things for granted... The One, The One Where, Do You Remember, See It

AD| Taming the mum bod with a little help from JoJo's Secret
How would I describe my body? As having lumps and bumps in all the wrong places. Whilst I’m proud of the fact my body carried two (big!) babies, it’s hidden away under black jeans and an over-sized top 99% of the time. So when I was approached by the team at JoJo’s Secret to road test some of their shape wear, I jumped at the chance. Goodbye muffin top, hello slinky mama!

My Happy Moments | April 2020
It’s amazing what ‘happy’ can be found in the middle of a pandemic lockdown isn’t it? This months happy moments have been in the ordinary days, the small stuff – the stuff that was probably already there but that I took for granted…

Sustainable packaging solutions for your business
During this crazy coronavirus quarantine, one of the things I’ve loved seeing, is lots of ‘from home’ small businesses taking shape. More and more people find themselves with time on their hands to finally go for that dream that’s always been, well, just a dream… New start up e-commerce businesses have more than just a name to think about though. They need to consider the product they’re selling – is it going to be ‘eco’, ‘sustainable’ or ‘vegan’? Is it hand made or batch produced?

We rise by lifting others… or in this case, gifting others. For anyone on Twitter, you may have already seen the #spreadkindness #sendlove campaign going around. And do you know what? It’s bloody lovely!
