Books I read in February (2021)
February’s a shorter month, and a ramp up in workload saw me only getting through two books this month. One by one of my favourite authors, and the second from a new author to me. Neither blew my socks off…

What I read in January
So I started the month off going great guns at reading, and then Lockdown 3.0 happened. Work got busy and Sofia was back homeschooling – and I know it’s this point that I should whizz myself off into another world, head in a book and forget about the shit reality we’re once again living in…. but then I fully investing myself into Married At First Sight Australia, and books took a bit of a backseat!

December Books & a Goodreads round up!
This month rounds up the year and I went into December having read 29 books, which is an accomplishment for me. I did set a Goodreads challenge of reading 36 books in 2020 but I end this month, and year, having read 34. So just slightly short of my target!

What I've been reading // Aug-Oct
This one is a bit of a what I’ve been reading over the last three months instalment. Creeping out of lockdown meant I didn’t escape into quite so many books as I had been previously…even though my Kindle is bursting with book purchases. This book post sees chick lit, a thriller, a horror and a real life ‘Where’s my Happy Ending’ which had me breathing a sigh of relief that it isn’t just me!

Toys my three year old plays with
In the height of the covid quarantine we had to get quite resourceful with keeping the kids entertained – which meant a lot more time playing at home with toys. I started to notice that Arlo (who turned three during lock down) had firm favourites that kept his attention way longer than a lot of the other bits we have. So here’s my list of toys that my three year old plays with!

Books I've read this month - June/July 2020
June was a bit of a slow month reading-wise. When the lock down restrictions eased slightly I found myself living real life and not so much book life, but I did miss getting lost in the pages so I picked up the pace in July and decided to combine the summer month reads into one post…
