Vintage Love: mid century enamel Sellotape tin 1950s. http://www.meyouandmagoo.co.uk/2015/10/vintage-love-mid-century-enamel.html The typography and fonts have a real retro feel to them. I'm not sure if it is from the mid-century or a slightly later 1970s-1980s piece.

I love nostalgia. If there's one time of year where people feel nostalgic, it's Christmas. These gift box decorations were bought out of the loft every single year when I was growing up. I love the Father Christmas gift box the best I think. My mum also crafted the robin pom poms back in 1975. I think they are ingenious & I want to make my own version one day. http://www.meyouandmagoo.co.uk/2010/12/vintage-love-christmas-decorations.html

Giving Annuals or Yearbooks as gifts has been a Christmas Tradition for many decades. I bought this Tiger Tim Annual at a jumble sale a little while ago, it dates from 1924. It's amazing to think that over 90 years ago a child unwrapped the 1924 annual on Christmas Day morning. http://www.meyouandmagoo.co.uk/2015/12/giving-yearbooks-and-annuals-as-gift.html blog post, vintage, book, nostalgia, 1920s, festive
