Teething Facts
Teething can start as early as 12 weeks with the growth of a tooth, but shouldn’t cause too much discomfort until it actually breaks through - sometimes months later. Chewing and drooling are both very common for this age regardless of teething and are not always an indication of tooth growth. Red cheeks, nappy rash, ear aches and infection, diarrhea and a fever are all signs of teething and discomfort. My go-to treatments are Ambasol Liquid and homeopathic teething granules.

Anyone who has read my book knows I’m not a fan of dummy use but I also know that at 3am when your baby won’t settle to sleep and you’re shattered it’s anything for a few hours sleep! If you are a slave to the dummy/ pacifier then check out page 241 of my Troubleshooting shooting chapter.
Massage is a great way to boost emotional development. I like to introduce a massage as part of the bedtime routine once a newborn is relaxed and used to being exposed which can take up to 4 weeks of age. Massage pre or post bath. My favourite oil is organic coconut, Burts Bees apricot oil or Childs Farm moisturising cream. For more info about my favourite products head to my blog
Baby Bath Time Routine
Your baby doesn’t need to be bathed every night for hygiene reasons, but it’s important to have consistency surrounding bedtime. Bath time is fun, relaxing, it breaks up the evening and it helps your little one to wind down. It’s also a really good way in getting your baby to recognise that bedtime is approaching! For loads of priceless tips and advice on how to get your baby ready for bed for a long sleep! Order your copy of my complete guide: 7pm to 7am Sleeping Baby Routine 💤✨🙌
