My y5 group enjoyed drawing these - I've used them successfully to do the above activity, but also multiplication/division inverse. It's also lovely to write 10 or 20 on the roof and write all the number bonds inside the house part.
The 100 square challenge! Can you use your knowledge of numbers, patterns and place value to reassemble the 100 square? How about trying it against the timer? Can you even complete more than one square before the time runs out? Very popular in my class! LG☆
