Aragonite is a mineral that most commonly appears in shells. This print has been made using a series of techniques, including distressing, manipulation and digital printing, to replicate aragonite’s intricate crystal structure. The resulting print creates a shimmering illusion of pleats. Pieces in the collection take on a three-dimensional depth that enhances the natural drape and fold of the fabric.

The rust-like print was developed from silk brocades that were heavily eroded through a natural process of oxidization. A wonderful trompe l’oeil version of an otherwise extremely fragile fabric applied to linens for soft furnishing and upholstery, and oak veneers for tableware. Vintage furniture is given a new lease of life with inlaid Atlas printed oak veneer panels that give the illusion of texture and depth, reinventing the original surface and enhancing its tactile qualities.
