Word Family Clip It Cards

Word families are a constant in phonics instruction. They really helped my newly arrived ELs pick up vocabulary, as well as familiarity with English phonics. This set of clip cards includes 20 different word families: At, An/Ad, Ag/Ap, Og/Op/Ot, Eg/En/Et, Ug/Un/Ut, Ig/Ill/Ip, R-controlled vowels, VCe, Sh, Ch, Th, Wh, St, Qu, Oi/Oy, Aw/Au, Kn, -tion These cards go well with my Word Family Bonanza and Word Family Bonanza 2 products, both are available in my store. To use: print, laminate, and cut each page into quarters (cut on outside edges and thick black lines); place in a center with a basket of clothes pins; students then place a clip on the correct word for each picture.
