My semicolon tattoo is to support my mam and many of my friends, as well as myself, who suffer from depression among other mental health problems. But it is also to remind myself that no matter how bad life seems there is always hope and happy endings always start with hope. "A semicolon is used when an author chooses not to end a sentence. You are the author and the sentence is your life."
