A superb Charlotte Rhead tube-lined 'Byzantine' pattern flower jug in the more unusual colourway sometimes called 'Danube'. Stylised cerise and purple flowers with smaller blue flowers tube lined in blue on a mottled ground; the leaves washed in a lovely green lustre, as are the top and bottom borders.
