This contemporary craftsman birdhouse is made of salvaged solid clear cedar, resurfaced to give it new life. The front has a non-toxic teak oil finish which brings out the natural color spectrum of the wood. The body of the birdhouse has been finished with a storm cloud blue low VOC solid stain, which allows the natural texture of the cedar to show through. Suitable for outdoor use or as a great indoor decoration. If you would prefer a different color on the body of this birdhouse then take a look at the additional color choices of the other houses in the shop, and let us know which you would like. If you choose to use this as a functional birdhouse it should be cleaned out once per season to make room for the next house guest. To simplify cleaning, the back panel pivots open on concealed hinges by removing a pin from the left side. No tools required and clean up is a breeze. To hang the birdhouse, simply attach the provided philips head screw to a desired location (tree, house, pole, etc.) and hang the birdhouse by the hole in the back panel. Dimensions: 6x10.5
