Blue Danube Wedding Bowl Compote with Lid in Blue Onion Pattern

This is the Wedding Bowl lidded compote made by Blue Danube of Japan in the blue onion pattern. It is in excellent condition and very clean with no chips or signs of use. The blue onion pattern was first made in 1951, and the flowers depict the Chinese symbols of good fortune and happiness. It is a high glaze porcelain which is known to be very chip resistant.
