This original design is also a trompe l'oeil, where it seems stars near and far take center stage before us.   Fabrication: Artisanally crafted in Catalonia, Spain using an original Catalonia 1850 design: hand-forged metal grid, layered and hand-pressed colored cement, essential drying time.  Final antiquing by hand at Pavé facility in West Hatfield, Massachusetts to achieve antiqued patina. Surface Texture: Satin patina with artisanal imperfections.  This is a living material that will continue to age and patina with use and wear.  A quality installation will mean this cement tile will last generations.
