After long years of research and findings conducted on artist Van Gogh’s works, art ‘detectives’ have finally found out the colours from his master piece creation. The discovery shows that the walls from his rooms were apparently purple in colour. X-ray imaging interacting with atoms of the chemicals present in the paint gives way to a useful technology for this discovery. Do you also know of any such technology?
Artist Sara Greenberger Rafferty is opening her exhibition at Rachel Uffner Gallery where she aims to display external interiority in the form of plastic consumer works, more commonly the ones which fall in the realms of shopping.
