Pierre Paul Rubens | "La lutte pour l'étendard" de la "Bataille d'Anghiari". Ce dessin est la plus célèbre des interprétations conservées de la "Bataille d'Anghiari" de 1504-1505, fresque de Léonard de Vinci pour le Palazzo della Signoria à Florence. Rubens ne vit pas l'esquisse de la Bataille, détruite vers 1560. Mais, il eut accès aux dessins de Léonard de Vinci et les étudia.
