Making Ginger Fairing Biscuits 🍪

Easy biscuit recipe and children can help with most of the stages! Ingredients (makes about 16): • 100g margarine • 100g caster sugar • 2 teasooons golden syrup • 225g self-raising flour • Pinch of bicarbonate of soda • 1 level teaspoon ginger • 1 level teaspoon mixed spice Method: • Heat oven to 190°C/Gas Mark 5. • Gently melt the margarine, sugar and syrup together in pan. • Sift the dry ingredients together, then add to the melted margarine and syrup mixture. Mix well. • Turn the dough out of the pan and roll into 16 small walnut-sized balls with your hands. • Place on a greased baking tray and bake in the oven for around 12 minutes, or till golden brown.
