Sri Lankan red lentil curry: Soak ¾ cup masoor dal (red lentils). Grind ¼ tsp fenugreek, ⅓ tsp black peppercorns, ⅓ tsp cayenne or 1-2 dried red chilies, ¼ tsp turmeric.
