Phengodidae. Whatever. Beautiful, unrealistic (?) antennae. But I'd still run if it came after me. I confess, I'm just a critter person...I only admire the insects from a distance, or in a picture. I can boast of an encounter of the first kind of a luna moth, walking stick, praying mantis and an outrageous 4 color BIG outdoor spider in my yard that I failed to photo. I admit, the fear came before the admiration. Spidy was about 4 inches across.
