What do your clients talk about when they compliment the work you’ve done for them? Do YOU use that in your branding and marketing? It’s common for business owners to see one thing as most important while their clients see something else. For example, you know you spend loads of time on procurement, but your clients don’t talk about that! They talk about the fact that they feel listened to by you; that you give them extra attention; that the rooms you design for them make them feel a certain way. That’s what you need to be talking about on your website, in your blog posts, and in your social media. Why? Because that right there, it’s your client’s ‘love language.' It’s what they care about, what they’re looking for in a designer, what they value. Repeat that same language and your future clients (who are paying close attention) will come running too!
