Annie Hall - A remarkably funny, modernist, quasi-existencialist, analitically fascinating pastiche about modern life and relationships, (before hipsters ruined it for everybody) with Woody Allen at his funniest, grouchiest, Jew-iest, most neurotic and self-loathing. (9/10)
Woody Allen / Granda Joe character. Not present. Always with a new lady. Puts ads in the seeking columns in the Belfast Telegraph. Absent. A tenner a year to his grandkids to maintain the relationship. But still, their grandfather.
