Ahu Vinapu- one of 9 locations on earth with extraordinary stonemasonry consisting of large, carefully fitted slabs of basalt. Heyerdahl believed that the accurately fitted stonework showed contact with Peru, but both Vinapu I and Vinapu II were constructed earlier than 1440 and similar work only shows up in Peru after 1440.
