Mayo Tosabatchi is a landrace corn grown by the Mayo, an indigenous people of Sinaloa, Mexico. Landraces are full of genetic diversity and this one blew us away with its stunning vigor and variations in stem, silk and tassel color. And get this: we watched it grow 16 ft. tall! Order now for the 2016 growing season!
De Cicco Broccoli is perfect for kitchen gardeners because after producing the main broccoli head, it will produce a continuous supply of side shoots for the rest of the growing season. If you allow the side shoots to flower, you can eat them as broccoli raab (flowering tops). Then in the fall, the leaves can be harvested and eaten like kale.
Bred in 2011 by farmer, plant breeder, and seed activist Frank Morton of Wild Garden Seeds, Joker Lettuce has become our favorite head lettuce! It has a distinctly sweet, buttery flavor, yet every part of this lettuce retains a crispy, crunch.
