Nate accepts a job as chief of police in Lunacy, Alaska, hoping to to get away from the traumatic death of his partner back in Baltimore. He meets Meg, an independent bush pilot, whose father is found dead in a mountain cave
In this book, a young, innocent American woman is quickly entangled in a traditional love story, complete with outraged parents and culture clashes, surrounded by the romance and mystery of Paris. Sounds like a winner to me.
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn: This book is psycho and I mean that in a good way! Flynn created a story that makes you terrified that there are people really out there like this, but at the same time you kind of want them to win. We are reading the book from the husband and wife's perspectives and they are literally tearing down the fourth wall and talking to us. Chilling, heart racing, and excellently written. (Adult Fiction)
