Kriegsmarine High Seas Fleet Badge was introduced on 30 April 1941 to recognise the sea action between the German Navy and the Royal Navy. The criteria for the award were: 1)To have completed twelve weeks service on a battleship or cruiser. 2)This could be reduced if the recipient was wounded during the twelve week cruise. 3)If the cruise had been successful. 4)For service with the High Seas Fleet, but for which no other award badge could be given.
Army / Waffen SS General Assault Badge for 25 engagements by JFS. This excellent example displays excellent frosting on the wreath. The darkened Wehrmacht eagle above the bayonet and grenade retain most of their gray finish. The reverse features the standard crimped hinge and recessed "C" catch. The JFS is incused on the right side of the wreath.
